I bought this to hold my Klipsh center speaker for my Mitsubishi DLP TV. The front of the speaker rests on the top of the TV, and this device supports the rest of the speaker.

Because of the way I installed it, it is not visible behind the TV. It works perfectly for what I needed it for. Very sturdy! I lucked out because there is a stud in my wall dead center behind the TV.
