Rating : - 3 yr Samsung Service Plan for LCD $1,500-$1999.99 I ordered this service plan because my last Samsung TV only lasted for three months beyond the 1yr Warranty. (It cost $300 to replace the power supply.) I ordered this Service Plan on Oct. 23 and waited until Nov. 5 to complain to Amazon.com that I hadn't even received the "email copy" of the plan. On Nov. 6, Samsung finally sent the "email copy" through Amazon. It is now 10 days later and I still haven't received the written copy that they SUPPOSEDLY sent by USPS. If they take this long to send the $185 written copy of the Service Plan, how long will it take them to honor their Warranty Agreement? I wouldn't recommend this Service Plan(?) to anyone. If Amazon had a "0 star" rating that's what I would give this service. PLEASE NOTE: Amazon.com has been very helpful to this point. If I don't receive the written copy by tomorrow, I am going to cancel this Service Plan and get the 5 star rated "in-home" policy from a different Company. Read the Warranty carefully! According to Samsung the nearest Authorized Service is 185 miles away in NW Wisconsin so I may have to pay for shipping both ways for an LN46B750 TV. There are Authorized Service dealers 95 miles away but they make no mention of them. Might be Authorized Dealers even closer than that if I could find them. Read more ... |  |
